El estudio studiotwentysix2, fundado en 2003, en Chicago, por el diseñador Tom Davie, ha realizado una serie de carteles tipográficos muy interesantes. Este es mi preferido, por su originalidad, fuerza y por la historia que esconde detrás, que os copio a continuación. Lo podéis comprar aquí (también está la versión carcasa para móviles).
«This poster is three generations in the making. My grandfather was thrifty and savvy enough to collect hundreds of pieces of discarded metal, my father was wise enough not to throw the rusted metal metal away, and yours truly, for picking through it, not getting tetanus, and visually arranging it. FYI: The metal percentages at the bottom of the piece make up the alloy composition of foundry type.»
